CHARMING CAPE TRANSFORMATION
Complete transformation of this charming cape with the best of city living in the suburbs!
Before I start posting fall containers, I want to share some garden installations that are growing into their glory. This sweet cape sits on a small slope in the heart of beautiful downtown Wellesley. It’s sideview was screaming to be softened. That is a “Twombleys Red Sentinel “ Japanese maple in the center which will eventually reach the second story. It’s a rare species with a tall slender habit. I love it flanked by the oak leaf hydrangea to pick up it’s burgundy hue and the arborvitae (which could not be happier)! The Kousa dogwood was a game changer in that spot, not only from the road but from inside the home as well as their front landing. Switching out the window boxes from the hay baskets to classic black boxes finished off this gem.
