TWO-TIERED PERENNIAL SHADE GARDEN
Loving this two-tiered perennial garden! What was once an eyesore for this client at the entrance to their backyard has become a shade garden showcase! The bloom times of these perennials and shrubs are synchronized so that there is constantly something blooming. The mixture of their foliage textures and colors is stunning even after blossoms have passed.
The top tier of the garden is planted all four seasons. The green flowered hellebore you see in the summer planter begins blooming in the winter and has spectacular ivory/yellow blossoms in the spring. The Spring photo shows the hellebore with the daffodils which bloom every year, with the easy addition of some moss, viola and branches it’s a stunner. The daffodils finish just in time for the hostas to take over for summer.
